Taught English as a Foreign Language to three levels of middle school and two levels of primary school. Responded to the local demand for professional English learning by leading weekly English clubs and organizing a multi-village written English competition. Selected as one of three volunteers to represent the entire Peace Corps post as a presenter and local language translator for the Ministry of Education, National Museum, and UNESCO Comoros at the inaugural International Day of the Mother Tongue. Increased female visibility in sports like soccer, taekwondo, and weightlifting.
